Bringing this sports development initiative together with the food support, job creation, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation programmes of the Entwined Roots Trust allows us to present a more comprehensive solution to the issues faced in the community.

There are so many talented players, and our hearts are to create a safe space for them to develop holistically! But our broader vision is to also leverage other sports disciplines to activate our community and our nation.

Our head coach is an experienced professional player with many years coaching experience. Under his guidance player training for our two senior teams and our two junior teams have commenced with the teams participating in the 2021 season.

We have received approval from Queens Park AFC via their management for Brooklyn Superstars FC to participate as B status members of Queens Park AFC until we receive formal approval from the Cape Town Tygerberg Local Football Association to be independently registered.

We have signed a free usage agreement with the City of Cape Town for the use of the Bayview Sports Complex in Brooklyn. This provides us with access to facilities to support our journey.

Our home games will be played at Queens Park AFC until such time as the fields and facilities of the Bayview Sports Complex are restored to match readiness. We continue to adhere to COVID-19 regulations of mask wearing, hand sanitization, and registration - as well as the City of Cape Town limitations on training and the SAFA suspension of amateur football as and when required.
